Tekeningen voor een 'free lance' kolengestookte ketel

Bij de meeste kolengestookte ketels is de vuurkist meestal totaal omringd door water.
Bij dit ontwerp nam ik het risico voor een "droge" voor- en achterplaat van de vuurkist,
hetgeen een veel eenvoudiger constructie oplevert.
In de praktijk blijkt dit zeer goed te voldoen!

At most coal fired boilers the firebox is surrounded with water.
With this design i took the risk of a 'dry' front and backplate of the firebox.
This gives a much simpler construction of the boiler.
In practice this worked out very well!
